Once you decide whether you are an "A" or "B" route, there is a calendar to the Recycle tab in the map which reveals the breakdown of A and B months.  The solution to combatting these unfortunate gatherings is always to eliminate batteries effectively instead of tossing them to the trash or continuing to demand batteries in hopes they might keep
